Lanark Highlands is more than a place to liveāit’s our home. We are proud of our rural heritage, our farms, our forests, our lakes, and the strong sense of community that comes from neighbours helping neighbours.

I am running to serve as your Ward 3 Councillor because I believe Council should listen to residents, make practical decisions, and protect the rural character that makes Lanark Highlands such a special place.
Are you tired of Candidates who say, “I will listen to voters“, and can never be found?
Introducing my Street Side Chats! Click Here for the details.

NEXT STREET SIDE CHAT:
- Date: Saturday September 12, 2026
- Time: 14:00 to 17:00
- Location: Gibson Road and Wolfe Grove Rd
What if the Candidate for Ward 3 Councillor doesn’t live in Ward 3? Is it important to you to have a candidate who lives here? Click Here
What if TWO of your candidates are both neighbours involved in a rezoning dispute! Is serving the voters their only interest? Click here for a high level summary.
My Priorities
- Reopen the Household Hazardous Waste site so residents once again have a safe and convenient place to dispose of hazardous materials.
- Oppose the Alto high-speed rail project as it will negatively affect our farms, rural properties, and community.
- Protect our natural resources by carefully considering large developments, such as data centres, that could place significant demands on electricity and water.
- Agricultural/residential land – Look at current and historical use of land and ensure the intended use of the land does not change without careful consideration to the area and neighbours.
- NOTE 1: Currently Lanark Highlands is going through a zoning by-law review. They are having an open house September 15/26. Please see their public information available here.
- NOTE 2: A very important and likely consequential rezoning application is being heard for a Ward 3 property and TWO of the Candidates are directly involved. Click here for a high level summary.
- Financial Stewardship and Affordability – work to ensure Lanark Highlands remains financially viable and at the same time consider the affordability that the residents need.
If elected, I will work to ensure these priorities are brought forward and discussed at Council.
On election day, I would be honoured to earn your vote for Ward 3 Councillor.
